File conversions
PDF, image, Word and spreadsheet formats represent content differently. Layout, fonts, tables, OCR text, page breaks or other details can change during conversion. Review the exported file before replacing or discarding a source document.
OCR and extracted data
OCR can misread characters, decimals, dates and identifiers. Reconstructed tables can place values in the wrong field when the source layout is ambiguous. Verify consequential data against the source.
Business and financial calculators
Profit, margin, inventory, loan, ROI, aging, currency and other calculations are informational tools based on the values supplied. They do not replace accounting, tax, legal, financial or professional advice.
Exchange-rate data
Reference exchange rates may be delayed, rounded or different from the rate offered by a bank, card issuer or money-transfer service.
